Explorers Believe, Explorers Achieve!

About Us

The Lyons Mill Elementary School Parent Teacher Association (LMES PTA) is comprised of parents, grandparents, care givers, school administrators and educators.  Our PTA strives to support educational success for all, enhance student learning and enrich the lives of our students.  We are committed to working collaboratively to close the gap between home and school.  As a member of the PTA, you will have the opportunity to discuss issues that are important to families and school staff, advocate for all students and have your voice heard. We look forward to partnering with you to make this school year great!

Some examples of events where PTA has needed volunteers include: Trunk-or-Treat, American Education Week, Teacher Appreciation Week, providing support in the carpool loop and monitoring students in the cafeteria.

Do I have to volunteer if I become a member?

LMES PTA loves our volunteers and could always use a helping hand, however, members are not required to volunteer.
